Doula Services
Our
first consultation/visit is free of charge with no obligation. Each
consultation lasts around 2 hours which allows you time to get to
know me and answer any questions you have in order to feel confident
and secure in my role. You can then decide whether or not you would
like to hire me as your doula. I can also refer you to other doulas
in the area if you feel that you would rather have a doula with different
philosophies or experience than I.
As your doula it is my role to encourage and educate families during pregnancy, labor, and birth in order to achieve the best and most satisfying birth possible according to each individual's needs and desires.
At the root of an empowering birth experience is physical and emotional support of the mother, as well as confidence and security in whatever role the father assumes.
In order to provide the most holistic care according to your
individual needs, my services include the following:

At least two prenatal visits in order to understand your birth wishes, fears and understanding of the birth process.

Help with creating a birth guide

Aromatherapy for pregnancy and birth

Library of books and videos
-
24 hour phone counseling

24 on-call beginning at 38 weeks

Attendance at labor and birth

1-2 postpartum visits to share birth memories and answer questions

Breastfeeding support

Back-up Doula
My fee is $525 which includes all of the above stated services
Every client will recieve a complimentary pregnancy sample pack of luxurious organic herbal skin care items from Violet Moon Organics!
I
believe that *all women* deserve unconditional support
during their pregnancy, labor, and birth; therefore,
my fee is flexible under special circumstances.
I will also consider barter and payment plan options.
